Dear Reader
As I write this foreword I am also busy writing Chapter 8 of this work. When I first put my hands to the keyboard to begin Chapter 1, I had no idea what lay before me. I honestly thought I was just going to do a series of conversations on a random set of topics. But it has since transpired that there is a greater plan at hand. I have been shown that my soul has a purpose and these writings are a part of that. And as a result, instead of each chapter being a discrete and somewhat random thing, the chapters follow on from each other and build towards a larger, coherent picture. I find myself repeatedly surprised at the unexpected synchronicities and cycles that play out through these chapters: something that seemed unimportant to me when I first wrote it turns out later to be exactly the groundwork needed to develop a much greater idea, and so on. I now stand in amazement of what is to me quite apparently the most important work thus far in my life. But, as I say, I knew nothing of this when I started. Only now, as I write Chapter 8, are these things being made clear to me and thus it is that I can come back and write this foreword.
The objective of this foreword is to invite you to read this work and therefore I feel I should give you an indication of what you can expect from it. The Ascension Papers are, unsurprisingly, about ascension: yours, mine and everyone else on this planet’s. Our global ascension. This work seeks to give you a perspective on what that is about, what it might mean to you and how you might best facilitate your own ascension process. But, it seems, one cannot address this all-important topic without dealing with a huge host of other topics as a part of the discussion. So, aside from presenting the ascension concept in some depth, you may expect to see conversations on:
• Why are we actually here? Why did we incarnate as humans and what does this all mean?
• What is the nature of the “higher-self” and what is our relationship with our “higher-selves”?
• What is a “spirit-guide”?
• What is “Oneness” and why is it important?
• What is truth, what is love and what is joy?
• Why is the world in the state it is in and how did it come to be like this?
• What REALLY happened in our pre-historical and mythological times?
• What about 2012 and the apocalypse and the Mayan calendar and all that?
• What are soul-mates and twin-flames?
• Why does evil exist?
• Why is there fear and why is there pain?
• What about extraterrestrials, UFOs, light-ships and the like?
• What about religion? What about prophets, saviours, demons and devils?
• What about science? Does it have any value to us as beings that are on a spiritual path?
…and this is just a smattering of the many interesting topics that will be addressed in, I’m sure you will agree, quite a refreshing new way. But all of the many and varied topics will ultimately serve one grand purpose. And that is to set before you an invitation. It is an invitation to a whole new reality. A whole new life in a whole new world in a grand, golden age of humanity! I, as the incarnated aspect of a much greater being, have the wonderful privilege of bringing this invitation to you here in this life on planet earth. If you accept the invitation then you will be able to join me and a host of other beings in what seems to me to be the most wondrous future reality imaginable. But I won’t go into the details of that now. It will all unfold to you as you read this work. The point I wish to make is that I DO NOT insist that you must agree with me, believe what I say or subjugate your truth to mine. That is the opposite of what I want. I simply invite you to read what I have written with your own discernment and truth firmly in place. If you find resonance with what is presented then that is well. That means the ideas presented here are, to a large degree, “right for you”. If, as you read this, you feel emotional upwellings and tingles, if you feel something special and profound happening in your physical or emotional body then your heart and soul are telling you that you are busy accepting the invitation to come and co-create this new reality with me. If, on the other hand, this material reads like a bunch of far-fetched nonsense then you clearly are not finding resonance here. That is equally good because then you can cease reading (as you undoubtedly will) and go and find other material more to your liking. I have no issue at all with that as this work never was going to be applicable to everyone. Probably only a small percentage of people will find this work to be of interest. So feel free to engage or reject what you find here as YOUR OWN TRUTH dictates.
You will notice that this work is presented in the form of a series of conversations between myself and a variety of spirit beings. You might wonder how I come to be able to create these dialogues with beings that are not, in the normal sense of the word, present on this earth. In brief, I will address that question by simply stating that I have spent a great many years and a great degree of dedicated effort in teaching myself how to do this. I will in due course, as a part of this work, set out exactly how I do what I do and offer some thoughts as to how you too may develop such a facility should you so desire. Some call what I do “channelling” and, because that is the commonly used term, I’ll just go ahead and call it that too. But if it were up to me I’d rather call it “intuitive conversation”. Because that is what I am experiencing: a conversation that takes place in my intuitive centre. I don’t do any strange hocus-pocus or go into a trance or anything. I simply ask the questions that I have and then allow the truth in my heart to provide me with an answer and then I type what I get. Now, as I say, I have spent a great deal of effort refining my ability to really LISTEN and, as I have done so, I have been able to obtain answers to my questions that have truly astounded me. I have for a few years now, been sharing some of these answers on a variety of internet forums. This, The Ascension Papers, is the first time I have been prompted to sit down and create a continuous production which seeks to do more than answer random questions. It is a work with a purpose as devised by a group of spirit beings that are themselves involved with the very creation of this entire reality we all inhabit. But, from my perspective, I would say to you it is not really important HOW I derive these words. I do not want to claim any authority for my words as a result of the fact that they ostensibly come from some great being from the far-beyond. I would very much hope that you will decide for yourself to what degree these words are true for you based solely upon the words themselves. Do they ring true for you or do they not, irrespective of whom I claim to have obtained them from. YOU are your own truth, not me. These words are just one offering of one possible truth set amongst many. Only you can know if this particular truth set takes you forward on your path or not. And you WILL know. Trust yourself for that.
And finally. If you do like what you find here then you will undoubtedly what to discuss this with me and other like-minded souls. In this event I cordially invite you to join me on the forum boards of book-of-light.com. There you will find a forum thread created specifically for the discussion of The Ascension Papers . By joining the book-of-light forums you will meet others folks who share your desire for spiritual ascension and the golden age to follow. You can engage with us in discussion and we can all learn and grow together.
If you do decide to join me there then I feel it important to make the point that I am not in the business of telling other people their what their truth should be. I will not play fortune teller for you or anyone else. I will not tell you your story or supply you with ready answers to your every question. That is not my way. But I will be very happy to engage with you and hear from you about your experiences and perspectives. If it happens that you bring questions to the forum that seem to me to be of general interest and applicability then I might very well be inspired to seek answers from my spirit friends for inclusion in later chapters or follow-up works. So you are free to ask whatever you want. Just please understand that I will never feel any obligation to provide you with answers. My work is in the planetary consciousness and that is where I will focus my attentions.
