I have previously read two other books by Michael Newton, namely Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls. These books had a profound effect on my understanding of myself, my purpose, the meaning of life, of death and of the afterlife. I was finally able to make some sense for myself of experiences I had had of my own past lives during various meditations and under hypnosis. It made a big difference to me to be able to derive a sense of meaning and purpose for my life and its challenges, when viewed from the perspective of the reincarnating Self. So it was that, with great anticipation, I started reading this latest offering from Michael Newton.

This book differs from Newton’s previous publications in that the case studies are written by various different hypnotherapists who have all been trained in the methodology developed by Newton at the Michael Newton Institute for Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy. In each case a short client history and a statement of the problem or challenge, as presented to the therapist, are given. An abbreviated review of the hypnotic regression is then presented, with a follow-up study to confirm the life-transforming benefits of the therapy conducted. Some of the issues addressed in these case studies include: finding purpose and meaning in life, identification of soul mates, solving relationship problems, dealing with poor self-esteem, anger, depression or fear, resolving childhood abuse issues etc, etc.

It is clear that, in each of the 32 case studies presented, the clients derived immense and lasting benefit from the hypnotherapy. It seems that when we are finally ready to address an issue, either from this lifetime or from a previous life, we will be drawn to those who can assist us to do so - when the pupil is ready, the teacher always appears, whether in the form of a therapist or even a book!

Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, this book certainly provides hope and inspiration to seek assistance in dealing with challenges that hold us back from living a fully actualized, meaningful and fulfilling life of love and joy.

Kai-Zing(what is this?)
The only Kai-zing improvement I can suggest is that we can save a lot of precious resources by using e-books rather than paper books. Paper means trees - and harvesting trees is not very eco-friendly. Then there is the industrial process of making paper which releases a lot of toxic muck into the environment. Finally getting this book to means transportation and all the associated pollution. That said it IS just nicer to hold a book in your hand, isn't it? I love books. So... it's a trade off. But offering an e-book version is good for those of us that will use that format. So I am happy to discover that this book IS available in an e-book version.
