Guided Journey #3: Your Question Answered

How would it be if we could, right here right now, formulate any question that we would most like to have answered and then take that question before the wisest, most all-knowing beings of pure radiant Light... and actually get an answer!

Sound like something you might like to do?  You can... and I'd like to show you how.

But first, a little back-story...

There is a spiritual norm that exists for almost all of us that, immediately after dying a physical death, we realise that, indeed there is no death.  We have not “ended” we have simply gone through a transition and are still very much alive.  In fact we usually realise at that point that we are far more aware and vital than we ever were during our incarnated state.  The norm is that we are also met on the other side of this transition we call death by beloved beings: members of our spirit family are there to assist us through this transition.  The experience is very much like waking up from a very rich and compelling dream.  But the dream can be so compelling that we might need some help to come back to a wakeful state.  Some of us wake up kicking and screaming and crying like a child who has just had a nightmare.  But wake up, we all do.

Now I'd like to ask you: what do you do when you wake up from a really vivid and compelling dream?  Me - I  immediately tell Lisa all about it.  In fact, it’s a standing joke for us that I often begin our first conversation of the day with: “I had the most amazing dream last night!”  I share the dream with her and we talk about it and make sense of what it means for me.  Such dreams are always rich with meaning and can really help me to figure out things that are puzzling me in my life.

“Waking up” from this incarnation is a lot the same.  You take your experiences to your soul family and you talk about it.  “I just had the most amazing lifetime!” you might say.  And then you try to make sense of all that you experienced and then, later, begin to plan your next lifetime.

But these lifetimes that we are living here on planet earth are not all fun and games, are they?  Sometimes there are things that happen to us that are quite hard to understand.  Sometimes we even struggle to understand our own motivations let alone the motivations of those around us.  It can be complex and confusing.  Experiencing something is often a very far cry from understanding it or know what to do with it.  And we very often get a bit lost and confused and don’t know how to proceed.  And so it is that, in the afterlife, the norm is for us to go and visit a place commonly referred to as The Halls of Learning.  This is an amazing space.  It is a space in which even the most lost and confused being can interact directly with the brightest and wisest of Light beings: the Masters.  And so it is pretty much inevitable that, after every life, we will each trek off to The Halls of Learning to go and get help with these sticky and tricky problems.  We go before the Masters with our intractable problems and they help us to find clarity.  Sometimes we go before them expecting to be chastised for our mistakes.  But that never arrives.  Always we get only deep compassion and the most loving possible resolution to our problems.  We are not “instructed” in the way earthly teachers often do.  No.  We are given the benefit of their Light and wisdom so that we can resolve the problem for ourselves.  We soon learn that a visit to The Halls of Learning is a wonderful thing indeed.

We visit a different area of The Halls of Learning too when it is time to begin planning our next incarnation.  There we find beings who are particularly adept at putting together Soul Plans.  They work with us and other members of our soul family to make sure that the life that we are about to be born into has all the necessary elements to allow us to have all the experiences we believe we want and need.

There is much, much more to The Halls of Learning.  It is, for example the repository of the Akashic record.  This means that every thought that has been thought and every choice ever taken… literally everything that has ever happened in consciousness… is recorded and is accessible to beings of Light.

The Halls of Learning is also the place in which the record of karma is kept – which is the state of balance between the energy flows between all the beings in the system.

All of this and so much more you’ll find in The Halls of Learning.  Truly a magnificent place.  It is thanks to The Halls of Learning that we are able to progress as we do when we are “in spirit”.

One of the most powerfully useful things I have discovered for myself in this lifetime is that we don’t have to wait until we pass through the boundary of “death” before we can access this amazing place.  We can, in fact, go there whilst still “here” in this incarnation!  And this is wonderful news because it means we can make these amazing leaps of understanding and growth without having to first leave the life we are now living.  It permits a phenomenal acceleration of the path we are travelling and it is certainly something I can HIGHLY recommend.

There are probably many ways to accomplish this but the way I do so is though a meditative inner-journey.  I have taken the time to put my process to words and then record it as another of my Guided Journey meditations.  The challenge for me was to do this in such a way that pretty much anyone, irrespective of where they are on their path or what is troubling them or what spiritual tools are available to them, can listen to this and gain value.  I have worked with it, opened myself to inspiration and come up with a recording that, I firmly believe, will do exactly that.
