There are a fair number of books available now that explore the notion of how we spend time between incarnations.  On the face of it, this offering from Robert Schwartz would seem to be another of those, albeit with a specialised slant of looking in detail at the way a group of people deliberately chose the life-challenges they are dealing with before they were born into this world.  If that was all this book was then it would be an important and meaningful contributor to the body of spiritual knowledge available on earth today.  But it isn’t.  It is so much more than that.  And it is Robert himself that makes it so much more.  His deeply compassionate nature and gentle wisdom shines though in the narrative that holds the separate stories together.  The stories shed their own light but it is Roberts analysis and discussion that brings it all to life.

The net-result of reading this book and internalising its message is an understanding that we simply cannot judge ourselves or others for the paths we are on.  A beautiful realisation dawns that we are each engaged in our own discovery and like fire-birds we are each creating ourselves from the ashes of what we are not.  This book is a powerful agent in the journey of releasing judgement, finding acceptance and seeing the light and the perfection in the eyes of the other.

I applaud Robert for bringing such valuable insights to his reader in such a caring and compassionate way and I recommend this book unreservedly... it is very definitely a "Zingdad Approved" book!

The only Kai-zing improvement I can suggest is that we can save a lot of precious resources by using e-books rather than paper books. Paper means trees - and harvestable trees are not eco-friendly. Then there is the industrial process of making paper which releases a lot of toxic muck into the environment. Finally getting this book to means transportation and all the associated pollution. That said it IS just nicer to hold a book in your hand, isn't it? I love books. So... it's a trade off. But offering an e-book version is good for those that would use that. So I am happy to discover that this book IS available in an e-book version, unfortunately only a Kindle edition many different e-book versions would be an improvement.
