Preparing to Move

As I write this every muscle in my body is aching and my home is a chaotic mess. But my heart is singing. You see tomorrow is the day of my big move from the city to the forest

I have followed my heart and it has lead me step-by-step through the process of letting go, disengaging, disentangling, winding up and sorting out my old life. And now I am here.

Tomorrow the movers will come and carry our possessions down the long road to our new forest home. Lisa and I will load our dogs in the pick-up truck and move ourselves there too. But the real journey I am undertaking is a great journey of consciousness. The city life has been an ego-lead life. The forest life is going to be a heart-centred life. And as I arrive here at the very moment before the move I can feel this much greater movement taking place in my consciousness. Ego to heart.
