Deep Deep Down

This core of this song was created one slow Monday at work... I was in the sound studio messing around with a bass sound on the synth when one of the guys that worked for me walked in. He listened for a second and said, "Man that is Deep... Deep, deep down." I liked the way he said it so I played it as a bass riff. We liked it like that. So I made a song of it.   Not very deep though is it?   The cover art is a fractal that I created some time ago. I liked the way it looked like a tunnel leading away through icy infinity. And I thought it went well with this track...

The first half of the song is waaaaay laid-back. About as laid-back as a lazy summer Sunday afternoon on the lounger next to the swimming pool with a cocktail in hand.  Part two of the song kicks it up a notch and gets kinda funky.
